What's in the jar

Bees mix pollen with honey and their own enzymes, seal it into the comb, and let it ferment. That is bee bread, and it is not raw pollen. Tangy Original is our summer harvest, jarred in the fermented state the bees left it in: never dehydrated, never encapsulated.

How it tastes

Bright and sharp, with the sourness of a young ferment. Buttery enough to spread straight from the jar.

How to eat it

  • A spoonful straight from the jar, in the morning or before exercise
  • Spread on sourdough or warm toast
  • Stirred through yogurt, oats or a smoothie

Keep it in the fridge once it's open.
